After the Score foretold the death of Fon Master Ion, Sync was created as his replica using the forbidden technology of fomicry. When he was found unsuitable as a replacement, Sync was cast into the mouth of a volcano. As such, he considers himself to be nothing but trash, and the flames of nothingness are all that remain within him. He lashes out at the world from his anger, and it eventually consumes him.
