Ix's Overray Mirrage Cut-In

There are certain characters that have additional abilities due to the nature of their character or artes exclusive to them that allow changes and modifications to said artes.

Baldo

Arte Change (Consecutive Use)

  • The following artes change when used consecutively.
    • Rasen becomes Fuuzetsu.
    • Sougekka becomes Fuuzetsu.
    • Oborotsukikage becomes Fuuzetsu.
    • Shinkyaku becomes Houzetsu.
    • Houtsuisen becomes Houzetsu.
    • Setsuzankou becomes Houzetsu.

Ix

Ix's Overray State

Overray

  • Ix in his Overray state gains a few benefits.
    • Anima Sync bonus increases from 1.5x to 2.0x
    • Arte CC consumption is reduced by 1
    • Mirrage Gauge is filled to 100% capacity.
    • Passive HP Recovery effect that persists.

Limitation

  • There is a limit of how often the Overray ability can be used, with the upper limit being 4.
    • One use is recovered every 6 hours.

Karia N

Mirror Conjuring

  • Karia N can utilize artes that summon mirrors on the battlefield.
    • Kyoutenshin conjures a mirror in front.
    • Mirage Pillar conjures a mirror where the enemy is.
    • Kyoushoumujin conjures a mirror at the original position.
    • Kyousanouha conjures a mirror a short distance in front.
    • Burst Vision / Burst Mirage conjures a mirror from behind.
    • Genkyosen / Genkyoumirei conjures a mirror in front.
    • Koujinshou / Kyoujinrenshou conjures a mirror where you stand.

Mirror Positioning

  • If a mirror exists on the battlefield and certain conditions are met, Karia will teleport to the Mirror's position.
    • If using a Basic Attack or Non-Casting Arte and the mirror is closer to the enemy than Karia herself, she will teleport then strike.
    • If using a Casting Arte and the mirror is further from the enemy than Karia herself, she will teleport away then cast.
    • Receiving unguarded damage regardless of positioning will teleport you to the mirror to avoid enemy attacks.

Chester

Arte Change (Distance)

  • When 6th enhanced, these artes will strike in close range.
    • Eagle Shot
    • Sonic Bash
    • Wild Rain

Claus

Basic Attack (Barrier)

  • When used up to 2 barriers can be made around Claus.
    • If an enemy makes contact they will be damaged and knocked back.
  • The barrier disappears if Claus returns to standby.
    • By linking the barrier creation to a casting arte, it can be maintained.

Dhaos (Final Form)

Boss Character

  • The base HP value is higher than that of non Boss Characters.
  • Dhaos (Final Form) cannot heal from HP Recovery Artes/Mirrages not used by them.
  • When HP falls below 25% of the maximum, the Mirrage Gauge increases by 50%.
    • Activates once per quest.

  • The base HP value is higher than that of non Boss Characters.
  • Dhaos cannot heal from HP Recovery Artes/Mirrages not used by them.

Mint

Revive

  • Resurrection when enhanced can revive an ally.
    • If there are multiple characters that are KO'd priority is given to the leftmost character.
    • Mirrage Gauge is also reset for the resurrected character.
    • Due to Boss Characters being unable to be healed, they are not affected by Resurrection.

Morrison

Basic Attack (Barrier)

  • When used up to 2 barriers can be made around Morrison.
    • If an enemy makes contact they will be damaged and knocked back.
  • The barrier disappears if Morrison returns to standby.
    • By linking the barrier creation to a casting arte, it can be maintained.

Suzu

Damage Evasion (6th Enhancement)

  • When fully enhanced, damage received during the arte will be nullified at a certain probability.
  • Suzu will evade backwards. When evading, you are invincible until you land. It is also possible to chain aerial artes before landing.
    • Flare Raid

Basic Attack (Distance)

  • When used at close range, basic attack becomes sword slashes.

Leon

Parry Stance

  • Leon is invincible while in the Parry Stance.
  • When attacked during the stance, Leon parries the hit and takes a step back.
  • HP is recovered when attacked, and artes can be chained post parry.
  • The following arte enables a Parry Stance:

Lilith

    • Philia Bomb becomes Twin Bomb.

Chat

Chance

  • Chat has artes that perform different depending on Chance.

Robber Nantara

  • Robber Nantara includes items that have different effects.
    • An apple that recovers the HP of whatever ally touches it including Chat.
    • A bomb that explodes and damages enemies in range.
      • Explosion has a chance to inflict Fatigue.

Pow Hammer Revenge

  • Pow Hammer Revenge enables a special Counterattack effect.
    • When you are attacked by an enemy, a Pow Hammer will fall on the attacker.
    • Pow Hammer has a chance to inflict Stun.

Hachamecha Bomber

  • Hachamecha Bomber includes different bomb effects.
    • A bomb that splits into 3 with a chance of knocking down the target.
    • A bomb that grows in size and power with Off the Ground properties.
      • The larger sized bomb has a chance to inflict Paralysis.

Sakuretsu Rainbow Hammer

  • Sakuretsu Rainbow Hammer has a chance of inflicting Paralysis.

Van Eltia Grande

  • Van Eltia Grande has a chance of becoming Van Eltia Grandiose.
  • Chance is increased with Mirrage enhancement.

Van Eltia Grandiose

  • Van Eltia Grandiose is activated by chance when using Van Eltia Grande.
    • Mirrage Ratio is increased to 50%.
    • Damage inflicted is increased by roughly 2.5x. (Approximation).

Meredy

Quickie Veil

  • Quickie Veil creates a barrier around Quickie.
    • When used consecutively, the barrier will detonate early with a wider area of effect.

Atwight

Basic Attack (Heal)

  • Basic attacks do not deal damage, they instead heal nearby allies.

Barbatos

Boss Character

  • The base HP value is higher than that of non Boss Characters.
  • Barbatos cannot heal from HP Recovery Artes/Mirrages not used by them.
  • When HP falls below 25% of the maximum, the Mirrage Gauge increases by 50%.
    • Activates once per quest.

Chaltier

Parry Stance

  • Chaltier is invincible while in the Parry Stance.
  • When attacked during the stance, Chaltier parries the hit and takes a step back.
  • HP is recovered when attacked, and artes can be chained post parry.

Dymlos

Basic Attack

  • The basic attack has a slow start, but the stun time when it lands is longer.
  • Basic Attacks has OTG properties.

Judas

Arte Change (6th Enhancement)

  • When fully enhanced, the following arte changes when used consecutively.
    • Moon Glare becomes Moon Fall.

Karell

Arte Change (Consecutive Use)

  • When chaining non-casting artes from an arte with a cast time, the follow-up strike changes.
  • This is dependent on the element of the non-casting arte that follows, where it will become either Shiro no Shougeki or Kuro no Shougeki.
  • Enhancements from the respective artes used are shared with the arte change version.

Shiro no Shougeki

  • Consumes 4 CC to create a dark element lightning strike above the target.
  • This strike pulls foes forward with OTG properties.
    • Raisenshou becomes Shiro no Shougeki.
    • Kyousenken becomes Shiro no Shougeki.

Kuro no Shougeki

  • Consumes 4 CC to create a light element lightning strike above the target.
  • This strike knocks foes back with a chance to Knockdown.
    • Zaneijin becomes Kuro no Shougeki.
    • Karengeki becomes Kuro no Shougeki.

Kyle

Arte Change (6th Enhancement)

  • When fully enhanced and attacked during the stance, Kyle immediately retaliates.
    • Force Spear

Loni

Arte Change (Consecutive Use)

  • The following arte change when used consecutively.
    • Houtsuishou becomes Houtsuihoutsui.

Nanaly

  • The following artes change when used in close range.

  • When these artes reach enhancement level 5, they gain the ability to strike foes and inflict different effects.

    • Life Materie (Chance to inflict Slow)
    • Power Kraft (Chance to inflict Fatigue)

Revive

  • Dainanakoho when enhanced can revive an ally.

When using the arte Blaze Dress ( Stinger of the Chimeriad Agria), Agria protects herself with a wreath of flames. Flame DoT deals damage and hits towards the enemy, adding damage and hitstun to the combo.

Trap Artes

Using the arte Shoensa ( Kyoen) leaves a trap behind the enemy. Enemies hit by this will take extra damage and stagger

  • When the target is Downed, The following artes change to their altered variant.
    • Iron Cleaver becomes Infernal Torrent

    • Infernal Torrent & Explosive Ring both have Off the Ground properties.

Thunder Fang

  • Thunder Fang when used after defeating an enemy, dashes towards the next target to strike.

Dohalim

Seismic Rupture

  • Seismic Rupture when used after defeating an enemy, dashes towards the next target to strike.

Kisara

Piercing Roar

  • Piercing Roar when used after defeating an enemy, dashes towards the next target to strike.

Law

Awakening

  • Consume 40 CC without being hit by an attack that staggers to enter the Awakening state.
    • Overall attack power is increased.
    • If you receive an attack that staggers, the awakened state will be canceled.
    • Receiving an alternate Status Effect with the icon will cancel this state.

Nenshoubuken

  • Nenshoubuken when used after defeating an enemy, dashes towards the next target to strike.

Thundery Tenebrous Claw

  • When Thundery Tenebrous Claw is used, Gain Iron Stance Reduction for 15 seconds.
    • Additionally reduce the enemy's Iron Stance with all attacks.

Nazamil

Boss Character

Class Up

Class Up is a temporary form that Dio can enter that lasts for 8 seconds. In this form all of Dio's artes are affected and will change to a stronger variation, arte activation times will also shorten during this period. This form is triggered one of two ways:

1. Mirrage Arte Activation

When the arte Tenku Jousojin is activated he will instantly trigger Class Up.

  • Only Dio will enter Class Up if he is the one activating the arte.

2. Critical Rage

Damage over Time Artes & Stagger Immunity

When using the arte Kaikaboushin ( Alice's Armor), Alice grants Prevent Stagger to herself and protects herself with a wave of flower petals. Flower petals deals damage and hits towards the enemy, adding damage and hitstun to the combo. Prevent Stagger allows her to attack without getting disrupted while this effect is active.

Counter Artes

When Alice uses Kassui ( Alice's Gauntlets), Alice will prepare a counter stance. If she gets attacked during this state, she will immediately use Kassui as a counter, though the arte will activate if left unattacked long enough.

Counter artes do not work against spells, and the 'counterattack' part of a counter arte do not contribute as an extra arte towards master arte requirement.

When Asta uses Danma & Shukuma Kenseki ( Demon-Slayer Sword- Black Divider), Asta will prepare a counter stance. If he gets attacked **by magic** during this state, he will shoot a projectile as a counter, while also gaining a Arte Attack Increase buff. The 'counterattack' part of a counter arte do not contribute as an extra arte towards master arte requirement.

Altered Artes (Anti Magic)

When Asta gains Arte Attack Increase, some of his artes changes into stronger variants, now shooting shockwaves of Anti Magic. It should be noted that any source of Arte Attack Increase such as Astion will activate this, as it doesn't have to exclusively come from a successful Danma & Shukuma Kenseki ( Demon-Slayer Sword- Black Divider) counter.

Poor Arte Attack Stat

As a homage to Asta's lack of magic power, Asta has a comically low Arte Attack stat. However, he also has increased Physical Attack and a pure non-elemental melee moveset that only takes account of physical attack, making him really strong and offensively unaffected by elemental resistances or weaknesses.
